Bruno Mars scores his first number one album

This morning, it was revealed that Bruno Mars has scored his first number one album as "Unorthodox Jukebox" jumps one slot to the top of the album charts. The set, largely fueled by sale pricing by Amazon MP3, sold 95,000 copies in the week ending March 3 -- a gain of 96% compared to the previous week (according to Nielsen SoundScan).

On Tuesday, Feb. 26, the digital retailer offered a bevy of albums for just $1.99, including Mars' latest and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "The Heist." Some people may say that Bruno Mars cheated his way to the top, but that's far from the truth. Because album sales have become almost as distinct as dinosaurs, a $1.99 discount for an album is more of the norm.

Please be sure to check out this column's top five songs of the decade so far. Bruno made the list. We definitely feel he is one of the most talented artists to come out in the past five years. What do you guys think of Bruno Mars?
