Bruno Mars most pirated artist of 2013

Bruno Mars has topped the list of artists most pirated in 2013.

As reported by on Dec. 31, the Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter capped the year with nearly 5.8 million downloads, nearly a half million ahead of runner up Rihanna at 5.4 million and well over a million in front of Daft Punk, who finished third with 4,212,361.

Rounding out the top 10 most pirated list, according to album and track download statistics gathered from online file sharing site BitTorrent by data analysis firm Musicmetric, are: 4. Justin Timberlake (3,930,185), 5. Flo Rida (3,470,825), 6. Kanye West (3,199,969), 7. Eminem (3,176,122), 8. Jay Z (3,171,358), 9. Drake (3,139,408) and 10. Pitbull (3,138,308).

The "Just the Way You Are" hitmaker has been nominated for five Grammy Awards at the upcoming 56th Annual Grammy Awards and is scheduled to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J..

His hugely successful AEG Live produced Moonshine Jungle World Tour will hit Canada in May, 2014 with upcoming stops confirmed in Ottawa, ON, Calgary, AB, Saskatoon, SK, Montreal, QC and Toronto, ON.
