There's a new hot name in entertainment circles which will keep the competition working harder than ever before, Bruno Mars. Overnight Mars name is being seen everywhere and now he's been chosen as Billboard Artist of the Year, reports The Hollywood Gossip on Dec. 16, 2013.
Mars has become such a sensation overnight he will be following up Beyonce's sexy 2013 halftime Super Bowl show as the lead performer at this event on Feb. 2, 2014. It's hard to say which is a greater honor, the Billboard Artist of the Year award or being chosen to perform at the Super Bowl. Bruno's album, "Unorthodox Jukebox," had a spectacular 10-month run on the Billboard 200 chart and also spun off a trio of Top 10 singles, including "Locked Out of Heaven," "When I Was Your Man" and "Treasure."
Mars appears really happy about being chosen top artist of the year for 2013 by Billboard. As a singer, songwriter and producer his dream is coming true of being able to wake up each day to enjoy making his music instead of having to struggle through life with the daily routine of a regular job. Mars is the first male to win the Billboard award since 2008.
Next Mars will be continuing to take his show to the world when his world tour resumes Feb. 28 with 10 shows in Australia and New Zealand, followed by Asia and Mexico. Congratulations are in order for Mars
who has added a delightful new variety of entertainment to our lives. His music really is unbelievable.
