However, when the Hawaii-born talent was joined by the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the stage at MetLife stadium during a break in the big game taking place in New Jersey, the whole crowd was jumping. While all the musicians and the fans were standing up and down to the beat, Anthony Kiedis and Flea were shirtless in the cold weather with the temperature set at about 49 degrees.

After that, the main act resumed his round of super hits, attracting considerable attention with his heart warming rendition of "Just The Way You Are."

Bruno Mars is just one of a long list of leading musicians who have been part of the Super Bowl in the past. Among them are Madonna , who was joined by LMFAO, M.I.A., CeeLo Green and Niki Minaj in 2012, and Beyonce, who was the leading lady at the game for 2013 that took place in New Orleans.

And so, as Bruno Mars took on the halftime show with a whole lot of energy added when the jumping Red Hot Chili Peppers took the stage in New Jersey, the Super Bowl entertainment was at its best. Boy what a game changer this particular art became on Sunday when the Seattle Seahawks were ahead in their meet up with the Denver Broncos. Stay tuned.
