According to Yahoo! Sports, Boston Bruins' right winger Reilly Smith scored his seventh goal of the season with 4:33 left in the third period as the Bruins defeated the Calgary Flames 2-1 on Tuesday night.
The game marked the return to Calgary for veteran forward Jarome Iginla, who was playing in his first game of his National Hockey League career at the Scotiabank Saddledome in the visitor's jersey.
Iginla, who is the Flames' all-time leader in goals (525) and points (1095), played with the Flames from 1996-2013. On Tuesday night, he had four shots on goal, two hits, a takeaway, and a giveaway in 22 shifts while being on the ice for 21 minutes and 36 seconds.
Another major reason for the Bruins' victory was the play of Tuukka Rask, who made 26 saves on 27 shots.
With the win, the Bruins improve to 21-8-2, and the Flames drop to 11-15-4. The Flames, who are now 14 points back of the Colorado Avalanche for a playoff spot in the Western Conference, will next play the Carolina Hurricanes at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Thursday night.
