In a 2013 survey by American Express Spending and Saving Tracker, it was found that six million couples are likely to get engaged. This year is likely not to be that much different.

Brucie NYC in Brooklyn has put together a Beyonce themed menu for Valentines Day. What better moment to "put a ring on it" than to have a meal that shares the same name of the most famous Beyonce song sung by women everywhere several years ago? Among other dishes, the "put a ring on it" dish is anelli, calamari, broccoli, saffron for twenty dollars. Another Beyonce themed dish is Halo, which is angel hair, truffle, burnt angel food cake "breadcrumbs. If Beyonce is not the favorite, but maybe Jay-Z is, then order Jay Ziti.

The nice thing is that this menu is not price fixed like many of the other Valentines Day spots are. Pay for what you want to eat. And who knows? Maybe there will be some happy couples who will become one of the six million proposals for 2014.
