Bruce Willis has got a new medal to show off to the fans. The Die Hard entertainer was honored on Monday by being awarded Commandeur dans l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres (also known as the Commander of Arts medal) in Paris.

The special moment had the actor getting the beautiful medal at a private ceremony and being honored for his contributions to the world of the cinema. Accompanied by his wife, Emma Heming, the star was all smiles as he received the very distinct honor. The 57-year-old actor definitely was delighted at the honor, it probably was another milestone on his epic career in the entertainment business.

While many stars have received the Commander of Arts medal before, there are few who have a catch phrase from a movie series that has been around for generations. Of course after hearing the news, the Die Hard fans will need to say “Yippee-ki-ya” in unison to celebrate the moment.
