Thursday, “A Good Day To Die Hard’ hit video sites with the newest trailer. The trailer has been long anticipated since it is just a month before the movie is released to theaters.
Bruce Willis plays the character of John McClane, who lives on in this latest movie in the “Die Hard” series. Thursday’s trailer clip teases fans with some great Bruce Willis moves, but alas we must wait until Valentine’s Day to see the movie premiere.
The plot includes a twist, as ex-cop McClane will be working with his son Jake, to save the world from nuclear devastation. “Die Hard” fans may remember that McClain’s wife was involved in an earlier movie as an airport hostage. This time McClane’s son, played by Jai Courtney, takes on Russian leaders with a vengeance, as an undercover CIA operative who will work with John McClane to save the world. “Yippee ki-yay”
According to previous reports the movie will be short on “McClanisms,” the droll phrases that fans love to repeat long after the action is over, “Yippee ki-yay.” Evidently the director did not think that fans wanted that kind of film any longer and moved to focus on simple action-packed drama. There are a few phrases that might become new McClanisms, watch the video in the left box and tell us which phrases the fans should adopt.
Just in time for a good romantic date on Valentine’s Day, “A Good Day To Die Hard” opens on February 14, 2013 starring Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch and Yulia Snigir.
