Casting announcements recently surfaced for the upcoming “Sin City” sequel, “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.” After many rumors of Bruce Willis returning for the sequel, on Monday, Jan. 21, MTV Movie News has confirmed Willis’ return.
Bruce Willis will be reprising his role of Hartigan. The news was revealed by “Sin City” co-director Robert Rodriguez in an interview with MTV. “Bruce is back,” Rodriguez says. “So you will be seeing him.”
From production’s official synopsis: “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,” follows Dwight, a man who is being hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord. The story takes place in prior to “The Big Fat Kill” and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face.
Also set to return are, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, and Jaimie King. Joining the crew are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jamie Chung, Juno Temple, and Josh Brolin.
“Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” is schedule to hit theaters October 4.
