Looks-obsessed Bruce Jenner gets plastic surgery to flatten Adam's apple

Bruce Jenner is doing well after getting plastic surgery to flatten his Adam's apple, TMZ reported Feb. 10.

Jenner, 64, was photographed in Los Angeles sporting a smoother neckline and a long hairstyle complete with wispy blonde highlights.

Bruce, who won the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Montreal Olympics, has made headlines for his ever-changing looks over the years. Jenner got a nose job and a partial face-lift in 1984, and a second corrective face-lift in 2009.

Bruce's latest plastic surgery was the laryngeal-shave procedure, to flatten his bulging Adam's apple. When asked why he did it, Jenner told Us, "I just didn't like my trachea."

The laryngeal-shave procedure is one of the first steps in gender-reassignment surgery, fueling rumors Jenner is considering becoming a woman. But his estranged wife, Kris Jenner, slammed these rumors as false.

"[The sex-change operation] is a story that they keep regurgitating from the '70s," Kris told USA Today. "Ninety-nine percent of the stuff in the tabloids is made up."

Sources said Bruce has always been self-conscious and obsessed with his looks. He previously revealed he suffered from deep insecurities as a child stemming from his dyslexia. Meanwhile, insiders say Jenner is obsessed with looking young.
