Bruce Jenner, the long-suffering husband of Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner, has finally hired a divorce attorney in preparation for what is expected to be a multi-million dollar divorce from his wife of 22 years, according to October 3 news reports from International Business Times, Celeb Dirty Laundry, Headlines & Global News and several celebrity gossip sites.
In a recent interview, Kris Jenner’s sister, Karen Houghton revealed that her brother-in-law, Bruce Jenner has consulted with a lawyer to begin initiating proceeding for his high profile divorce. It looks like Bruce has finally had enough. With a net worth of over $100 million dollars compared to his wife’s net worth of only $20 million, it was wise of Bruce to engage an attorney to start working out the details of the multi-million dollar split. Ongoing Signs that the Jenner Marriage Was on the Rocks
There has been much speculation over the past few months that a divorce between Kris and Bruce Jenner was in the works, in view of the many signs that their marriage was on the rocks. Tabloids recently reported that Bruce complained that he and Kris never have sex, that she’s nasty to him, and he’s had enough.
According to Bruce’s son Brody, who publicly announced that he wanted his father to get a divorce, Bruce and Kris no longer share a bedroom and are leading separate lives. It’s a well-documented fact that the couple have been living in separate houses for months, Kris in the couple’s mansion in Calabasas, Bruce in a beachfront home in Malibu.
Kris’s sister says the couple’s relationship has been off and on, and that they do things together from time to time. But the Jenners are rumored to be a couple in name only, who have stayed together only for the sake of the Kardashian brand.
Unlike his spotlight-loving wife, Kris, Bruce prefers his privacy and reportedly said some time ago that he’s tired of living a lie.
Kris Jenner’s Reaction to the News
Despite the persistent rumors that their marriage is crumbling, Kris Jenner has always denied that a divorce is in the works, insisting that “everything is perfect" between her and Bruce. However, sources close to the couple have said that the Jenner marriage is over, but they are trying to maintain the illusion of a happy marriage for the sake of the family’s reality TV show. Rumor has it that Kris and Bruce will probably divorce when “Keeping Up With The Kardashian” ends.
This time however, there were no denials when Kris was questioned about Bruce initiating divorce proceedings it as she was on her way to meet her daughters at a posh boutique. Kris simply laughed it off.
