Bruce Jenner along with his spouse Kris Jenner opened up on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday about Kim Kardashian. The proud parents of the reality star reminded everyone that Kim was an adult and did the best that she could with her short-term marriage. While Ellen didn’t pry too far, Bruce Jenner really discussed his perspective of the marriage, which was a first, while Kris just listened.
"I think once she [Kim Kardashian] got into it, she realized this is not going to work. And she knew she was going to take the heat. If it ended in 72 days or three years from now, she would've taken the heat,” said Bruce Jenner on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. “She's a smart woman and said, hey, 'I have to cut my losses and move on.' It was horrible. I felt terrible."
Bragging that he can tell if a guy is up to par or not, Bruce Jenner left himself wide open to analyzing the relationship Kim had with Kris Humphries. Without missing a beat, Bruce offered up that he wasn’t sure the relationship would have worked to begin with.
"I had my questions," said Bruce Jenner. "I remember when Kris came to me. We were playing golf and he asked me is it OK for me to ask for her [Kim Kardashian] hand in marriage? In the back of my head, I said, 'I don't know if she is going to say yes.' But it's not my decision."
As the world knows, Kim Kardashian did marry Kris Humphries and after 72 days called it quits. While the chatter of the divorce has died down quite a bit, the Jenner’s discussed it as it is part of the reality show on E!
