Bruce Jenner canceling a surgery to trim down his Adam’s apple is now trending in top news tonight on both Bing and Twitter. While the celebrity was confirmed to be considering having a laryngeal shave done — a procedure which would surgically slim his frontal neck down — earlier this week, he has allegedly opted to nix going under the knife because of the leak of these plans to the media. UPI.com shares this Adam’s apple-saving story this Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013.
While Bruce Jenner cancels surgery might sound unlikely — considering the celebrity figure is known for going under the knife quite often — the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” cast member has decided to keep his full Adam’s apple for now. The 64-year-old TV personality has opted to cancel all upcoming surgery plans to have a laryngeal shave, which would effectively be a trimming of the body part at the front of the neck.
It seems that Jenner believes someone from his usual surgeon’s office had leaked plans of the star’s surgery without his permission, and didn’t want the news to make headlines just yet. As such, he is now planning on hiring a new surgeon who can keep his or her mouth quiet.
“While laryngeal shaves are often requested by patients undergoing a sex change, Jenner said earlier this Dec. that he wanted the serious surgery simply because he "just never liked" his trachea. Jenner also had a nose job scheduled for Wednesday, though he has reiterated it was not only for aesthetic reasons, but to remove scar tissue leftover from a previous skin cancer surgery.”
The popular TV dad and past Olympian revealed this 2013 that he did have a face-lift decades ago, and another nose job as recently as 2009 due to a hard time in his personal life. He said that the "rough" time encouraged him to revamp his appearance a bit and bring some confidence back. Bruce Jenner has decided to cancel the surgery until he feels “ready” to consider the cosmetic procedure in slimming his neck can be completed at a more private time.
What do you think of the celebrity nixing his most recent procedure?
