Bruce Jenner Adam's Apple: Laryngeal Shave for Jenner? Slimming it with surgery

Bruce Jenner Adam’s apple isn’t the next title episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” but it is a trending news search term this afternoon after talk hit the Web that Bruce Jenner is considering a Laryngeal Shave, a form of plastic surgery that would effectively be slimming down his Adam’s apple. He allegedly is looking into the procedure after seeing his plastic surgeon about a basal cell scar on his nose earlier this week, the Huffington Post reveals this Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.

With a past of plastic surgery, Bruce Jenner’s Adam’s apple may be the next body part on his list to possibly be modified by the former athlete in order to enhance his appearance. Jenner is weighing in on a Laryngeal Shave, a potentially dangerous cosmetic procedure that would cut away at his Adam’s apple, smoothing it out and making it appear less noticeable from the front and side.

The reason behind Bruce Jenner wanting to remove part of his Adam’s apple, which is much more prominent in men and than in women, has caused some speculation as to why the celebrity reality star would want to even consider a Laryngeal Shave. Apparently, Jenner has never liked the look of his throat, confirming the report to TMZ that he is considering plastic surgery to slim down the body part to become more comfortable with his own look.

The man was quick to add, however, that he is comfortable with his gender and not looking to alter it at all — he simply wants a new trachea.

"I just never liked my trachea," he said as reasoning for the plastic surgery procedure.

Aside from the Bruce Jenner Adam’s apple headline, the Olympian also made national headlines earlier this 2013 for splitting from Kris Jenner, his wife of 22 years.
