Browner not giving up

According to ESPN on Thursday, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner plans to fight the suspension he is facing for violating the National Football League’s substance abuse policy.

Browner, a former Calgary Stampeder who lost his appeal for his one year suspension on Wednesday, plans to sue the National Football League if he continues to be unsuccessful in trying to overturn his one year suspension.

Browner is actually one of six Seattle Seahawks to have been suspended in recent years, and it is the second time in his career he has faced a suspension.

It will be interesting to see if Browner returns to the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampeders. Before joining the Seahawks in 2011 and enjoying a Pro Bowl season with the Seattle in his first season with the team, Browner was a three-time Canadian Football League all-star with Calgary.

The Seahawks meanwhile have had a banner season in 2013. They are the best team in the National Football League at 12-2 and their 205 points against is the fewest in the NFL.
