Brown University to host BENERVA on 3/21

The digital poetry performance duo BENERVA will be appearing in the David Winton Bell Gallery on the campus of Brown University on Thursday, 3/21. They performed at Brown last year as part of the 'Sound + Electronics + Performance = Poertry' event. This event will be hosted by Brown's department of Hispanic studies.

The Mexican duo BENERVA, Benjamin Moreno and Minerva Reynosa, have together written seven books of poetry and have gathered ten awards for their work. They have previously held digital media installations and performed around the world in such other countries as Germany, Mexico, Morocco, Russia, and Spain.

The performance will be in room 110 of the List Art Building, located at 64 College Street. It poetry will be starting at 6 p.m., and there is a pizza reception to follow until 7:30 p.m. This event is free of charge and open to the public.
