A secret audio recording of Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson’s on-gain, off-again boyfriend Brooks Ayers threatening to “beat her ass” has surfaced. The drunken Ayers called Gunvalson vile names and tried to justify his threats of violence.
The recording that caught Ayers at a moment when he let his true self shine through was full of profane insults and threats in an intoxicated and slurred voice. The recording is allegedly an explosive argument between Ayers and Gunvalson’s son-in-law, Ryan Culberson.
The audio recording is a series of tapes that were obtained by RadarOnline. In the recording, Ayers is heard calling Vicki Gunvalson a “f**king whore” and threatening to “beat her ass.” Ayers then said that it was basically okay for him to physically assault Vicki because “I can and that’s what we do in the South.”
RadarOnline reported that they had been able to verify that the man threatening the Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson is in fact Brooks Ayers. The recordings were allegedly made in an effort to protect Gunvalson as the people closest to her were afraid that Ayers would actually hurt her.
The recording caught Ayers saying “B*tch like she’s never done it before ever.” However, it’s not exactly sure what Ayers means by that statement. He goes on to say, “F***king whore, imam [sic] f***ing beat her a** when I see her. It’ll be like a week when I see her, sh*t.”
Culberson responds to Ayers threat saying, “that ain’t right.” The conversation is outlined below.
Brooks Ayers: It ain’t?
Ryan Culberson: No.
BA: What ain’t right?
RC: You can’t beat her up.
BA: I’m going to be beat her ass.
BA: Because I can. That’s what we do in the South.
RC: No. I don’t do that.
BA: You don’t beat their ass?
BA: Well you probably should do.
BA: Oh god. This is us.
RC: Yeah upstairs.
BA: You be careful.
RC: You be careful. I am good.
That tape ends with Culberson asking an inebriated Ayers, “Are you alright?”
Brooks Ayers has refused to comment on the recording claiming that because it is part of what will be talked about during the Real Housewives of Orange County’s reunion show. His attorney Patricia A. Marr stated that until the reunion airs, Ayers is unable to comment.
Marr stated, “The topic and Mr. Ayers’ related comments were filmed in July, 2013 and are scheduled to air during the ‘Reunion’. While Mr. Ayers appreciates the opportunity to comment for your media outlet, he is prohibited from commenting about future air segments.”
Vicki Gunvalson, the only remaining original cast member of the Real Housewives of Orange County allegedly dumped Ayers in a text message. A source close to the situation revealed that, “Vicki dumped him via a text message.”
“He was furious. Brooks told her that if she said anything negative about him in the media, he wasn’t going to hold back. He was adamant that he would take her down. He said in no uncertain terms, ‘Be very careful Vicki’.”
