Onyx is listed as very urgent on the Facebook page Urgent Death Row Dogs Part 2, put together to advocate for the dogs being killed 365 days a year by the New York City system.
One poster commented, “It’s like throwing your grandfather away!”
Animal lovers are amazed how someone could leave their pet in a high kill shelter after spending 8 years with the dog.
