Brooklyn resident organizes anti-war protest in Danielson

A Quiet Corner resident has organized an anti-war protest to be held Danielson.
Luke Green, of Brooklyn, has set a rally for the date of May 8th at 2 p.m. in Davis Park on Main Street, and will focus on America’s primary overseas conflicts; Iraq and Afghanistan.

Green, a member of the Connecticut Anti-War Coalition, urges that Connecticut residents must “take action to stop (these wars)”.

“These wars are illegal and wrong, and it’s at this critical point in history that we, as citizens of the United States, need to stand up to what is being done.”
