Kennedy for the Word Up Cafe Event on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 from 12 – 4 p.m. at Ralph Gardens, 89 Ralph Ave, Brooklyn NY 11221.
Adopt a daughter for the day and bring her to experience the dialogue, camaraderie and entertainment. Partake in the opportunity to tackle issues, share advice and find constructive solutions to problems. The event will include a Mother-Daughter Brunch, Open Mic Poetry, Spoken Word, Music and a sneak preview of the book, “Going Through It!” by Sharron and Rasheeda Kennedy.
