Brookfield Zoo Free Days

With the mild winter temperatures that we are currently experiencing in the Chicago-land area, it’s a great time to take full advantage of Brookfield Zoo’s free days!  For the months of January and February, the zoo extends free general admission on Tuesdays, Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays.

The colder temperatures offer a great opportunity to see bears, camels, tigers, snow leopards, bison and wolves enjoying themselves in outdoor exhibits.  You can also view some world renowned indoor exhibits to warm up and see what the other animals at the zoo are up to.

Take advantage of the Hamill Family Play Zoo and the Children’s Zoo during your visit as admission there is also free during this time.

Remember that parking will cost you $10.  The zoo is open 10am to 5pm daily and the indoor exhibits close a half hour before the zoo closes.
