A report on Jan. 9 from E! Online indicates that Brooke was on multiple talk shows on Tuesday to discuss her new exercise DVD's and to give everyone a health update. She talked to Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb of NBC's "Today" and told them:
"It was quite an end to last year, but feeling great. Just a little scar. It's only been a month, but I'm already back to working out. It's crazy to be here talking about cancer and fitness at the same time, but I feel great."
Brooke also spoke with "Good Morning America" saying:
"The message is really about preventative health. Because I had no symptoms, and generally with thyroid cancer, it's very subtle symptoms. I went for a regular physical."
As of Dec. 29, Brooke was spotted out and about publicly with her scar from the surgery quite visible. The Radar Online site reported that she was out with her children in Malibu, and showed off the noticeable post-surgery scar on her neck.
The great news for Brooke Burke-Charvet is that she's now cancer-free and in-turn is helping others to improve the quality of their lives via her new exercise DVD's. Brooke can be seen on "Dancing With the Stars" as Tom Bergeron's co-host, with the show resuming this March, and airing in Roanoke on Cox Cable via ABC affiliate WSET 13.
