A convict who strangled and dismembered his ex-girlfriend before burying her remains in a Teaneck basement five years ago has been brought to Bergen County to answer local charges from the killing, CLIFFVIEWPILOT.COM is reporting.
Julio Flores, jealous that 28-year-old Jaritza Calderon was seeing other men, killed her in his Bronx apartment on his 32nd birthday in 2008.
He then chopped up her body, drove it in a van to Teaneck and buried the aspiring nurse's remains in plastic bags in a false wall under a basement staircase in the vacant home.
The 5-foot-6-inch Flores, a Guatemalan immigrant who entered the U.S. illegally, had done construction work at the Ardsley Court site, authorities said. READ MORE....
