Showtime Sports is pulling out all the stops to make the Adrien Broner vs.Marcos Maidana fight accessible to boxing fans.

Tomorrow, Thursday December 12, the final press conference will be streamed live and the next day, Friday December 13, the weigh-in will get the same treatment.

Thursday's press conference begins at 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT. and is available via Ustream and/or Showtime's website with a link, here.

The weigh-in is set to start Friday at 4:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. PT. You can watch the action live via a satellite feed, on YouTube, Ustream and the same page on Showtime's site, here.

Adrien "The Problem" Broner and Marcos "El Chino" Maidana will face off on Saturday night December 15 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

No need to spend for a Pay-Per-View for this bout, it will air live on Showtime Extreme, with the undercard commencing at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on west coast). The undercard features three world championship fights:

  • Keith Thurman defends his interim WBA Welterweight World Championship against Jesus Soto Karass.
  • Leo Santa Cruz risks his WBC Super Bantamweight World Championship against Cesar Seda.
  • Beibut Shumenov puts his WBA Light Heavyweight Super World Championship on the line against Tamas Kovacs.

As for the top of the card, Maidana (34-3, 31 knockouts) is fighting for the belt currently worn by the unbeaten Broner (27-0, 22 knockouts) the WBA Welterweight title.

Showtime and promoters have dubbed the bout "Danger Zone", presumably to make it seem that unbeaten champ Adrien Broner could fall to the 30 year-old Maidana, known as one of fiercest punchers in the sport.

So far the only danger has been in the pre-fight rhetoric. Here's a sample of what you might have missed.

According to Broner, Maidana is “one-dimensional and not in my league. I'm a Ferrari and he's a go-kart.”

For his part Maidana said of the 24 year-old Broner: “Everyone knows that Broner has a big mouth, but that doesn't bother me, because his mouth can't fight for him."

For more of that, get yourself streaming to catch the final presser tomorrow and the weigh-in on Friday.
