The NFL lockout could be nearing its end with reports of an agreement coming as early as next week and the players seem to be ready to get back to on the field.
Many teams have had player-led workouts throughout the offseason and the Broncos are no exception. Players have been meeting regularly since May led by safety Brian Dawkins at the South Suburban Sports Bubble in Englewood before moving to Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch.
According to the Denver Post, Dawkins’ workouts ended on Friday, but that doesn’t mean the players have nowhere to work out as Loren Landow, of the Stedman-Hawkins clinic, has been leading workouts as well and is continuing to do so.
Second-year quarterback Tim Tebow was seen at workouts on Monday and Tuesday, working out casually with other local players, Broncos and undrafted free agents.
Many other teams also dismissed player-led workouts for the long holiday weekend.
