Hollywood crime drama thriller "Broken City" directed by Allen Hughes and written by Brian Tucker was released on Jan 18, 2013.
"Broken City" has opened at 2,620 locations and is expected to collect $13.2 million at the box-office which is less than Mark’s last outing “Contraband”.
The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Catherine Zeta-Jones along with Russell Crowe.
The supporting cast includes Barry Pepper, Kyle Chandler, Jeffrey Wright. The soundtrack was composed by Atticus Ross.
Made on a budget of an estimated $55,770,000 the movie has a running time of 109 minutes.
The underwhelming opening despite the usually-reliable Mark Wahlberg and a fairly generic detective drama is predicted due to lack of action in the movie.
The movie is predicted to be at No.4 with the top 3 slots by "Mama", "Zero Dark Thirty", "Last Stand" and Oscar nominated "Silver Linings Playbook" starring Jennifer Lawrence is expected to be at No.5 position.
