A broken bottle death happened in New York after a man fell on the jagged glass and bled to death, according to an April 6 Inquisitor report. Miguel Jiminez threatened his male companion with a machete, and ultimately, the altercation ended in Jiminez's death in the strange broken bottle death.
Miguel Jiminez and a male companion disputed their tab at La Cabana Rodriguez restaurant in Brooklyn. Both men were asked to leave the location, and they took their argument outside. Once outside, Jiminez pulled out a machete, and soon the men resulted to brawling using their fists. During their fight, Miguel Jiminez feel on a broken bottle and cut open his bicep, which caused him to bleed profusely.
Even though he was wounded, Jiminez continued to chase after his companion. Soon, though, he was overcome by his injury. Finally, he fell and he was pronounced dead at the hospital around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
What a strange situation. While these men were arguing over their bill, it is unlikely Miguel Jiminez expected to be felled by a broken bottle and a severe cut to his bicep. It is almost unbelievable that he did not stop to attend to his wound. He chose, instead, to continue arguing with his companion, and ultimately he bled to death. It is really hard to believe that a dispute over the bill could end like this.
Police have not located the other man involved in this altercation over a bill. Ironically, Jiminez lived just a block away from where he ultimately fell to the ground and ended up bleeding to death.
