When reality TV star Brody Jenner joins Kardashians, it usually makes for headlines. In the latest instance, he's actually joining the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" TV show, which some may view as an upgrade from MTV's "The Hills."
The big reality television news was reported on various sources including MTV News on March 5. It was really Cody's stepsister, Khloe Kardashian, who first brought it up on her blog saying:
"I'm always excited for each new season of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians,' but I'm especially excited for this upcoming season because you're going to be seeing a lot more of the Kardashian/Jenner clan! My stepbrothers, Brody and Brandon, and Brandon's wife Leah are going to be on the show much more, which means an even closer look into the inner-workings of my crazy, wonderful family! Get ready people!"
Brody's related to the crazy Kardashian family due to the fact he's Olympic gold medalist, Bruce Jenner's son, from a previous marriage. Brandon Jenner is another of Jenner's sons who is set to appear on the show.
Brody Jenner has been a part of other reality television shows including the aforementioned MTV's "The Hills." During his appearances on there, he dated one of the main stars of the show, Lauren Conrad. Jenner was also part of "The Princes of Malibu," which didn't last nearly as long as "Hills." Brody may be looking for a new girlfriend on the show as he just broke up with singer Avril Lavrigne a few months ago.
MTV speculates that maybe Brody Jenner was added into the mix as a distraction of sorts, since Kim Kardashian has said she won't allow her pregnancy and upcoming first-born child to be a focus of the show.
"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" is seen in Roanoke on E! on Sundays via Cox Cable channel 60.
