It's official -- Brody Jenner joins "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" for the upcoming season. The 29-year-old son of Bruce Jenner has signed on to appear as a regular on the hit E! reality show KUWTK. E! Online confirmed late Monday Brody will join his dad, step mom, half sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and the rest of the Kardashian clan when the eighth season premieres in June. "I'm looking forward to the upcoming season and getting to know my extended family a little better," Brody said.
Father of six and step-dad to four, Bruce says he's excited for Brody to join the Kardashian family business. "I've been blessed with a very large family, 10 kids, and I've been waiting for years for Brody to break down and spend more time with the family," Bruce said. "I'm very excited."
The move to add Brody Jenner as a "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" regular, rather than making a few small guest appearances as he has in the past seasons, comes as Kim Kardashian hints she wants to step out of the spotlight to raise a family. Kim confirms she and the rest of the Kardashians are committed to the family business through Season 10, but after that the show's biggest star has suggested she could walk. In addition, Kim has said repeatedly her and Kanye West's baby will not appear on the reality show.
The handsome California native is no stranger to reality tv. Brody Jenner was a main character on MTV's reality show "The Hills" and even had his own show, "Bromance", in which guys competed to be his friend.
