Brody Jenner joins Kardashians as part of 'KUWTK' cast starting this summer (Video)

On March 4, Brody Jenner was officially announced as part of the cast of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," joining his extended family on their hit reality show. According to E! Online, the good looking son of Bruce Jenner and ex-wife Linda Thompson will be seen on E! Entertainment Television beginning this summer.

Brody has a host of reality TV experience, having been seen on the popular MTV series called "The Hills." The 29-year-old hunk has also appeared on "Bromance" and "The Princes of Malibu" as well as on "Zac Efron's Pool Party."

This intriguing member of the Jenner Kardashian clan has also modeled for various clothing brands, including Guess, OP, and Agent Provocateur.

Although Jenner will not represent every week that "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" airs, he is scheduled to show up when the situation calls for his presence. In fact, Brody has done that before, having been featured in a handful of episodes of "KUWTK" during past seasons.

And now Brody is joining as a regular on the series that his family has spun into reality show gold. His dad Bruce told E! News, "I've been blessed with...ten kids and I've been waiting for years for Brody to... spend more time with the family."

By way of background, Brody Jenner has had his share of fame in many ways. For instance, Bruce's son has had his share of celebrity girlfriends, having gone out with a variety of high-profile personalities including everyone from Lindsay Lohan and Nichole Richie to Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari. He has also dated Playmate Jayde Nichole and Canadian singer Avril Lavigne.

Avril was Brody's most recent partner, but the two broke up a little more than a year ago. Now Lavigne is engaged to Chad Kroeger with many sources speculating that she is pregnant with their first child.

Meanwhile, Brody Jenner is moving on as he joins the Kardashians on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" when the reality TV program returns with fresh takes on their perpetual antics come July of 2013.
