Brody Jenner has a better relationship with Kris Jenner now than he did growing up, according to a Dec. 30 Us Weekly report. Growing up with his father’s soon-to-be ex-wife was not also easy for the younger Jenner. “The tension was real as far as growing up not knowing her intentions, who she is,” he told the New York Daily News.
Fans of the family’s reality show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” have been privy to some of the tensions Jenner reportedly experienced. In one episode the younger Jenner confronted the family matriarch for what he believed was her contribution to his rift with his father, Bruce Jenner.
The New Daily News reports that despite the tension that Jenner had with his stepmother, the duo are on better terms now. This is one instance where being on the family’s reality television show may have helped both Jenners. “Kris and I have had some very deep, long conversations, and we actually really got to know each other, and so we’re all good now,” he said.
Bruce and Kris Jenner separated earlier this year. They wed in April 1991. Brody and his brother Brandon are Bruce’s sons with ex-wife Linda Thompson.
