BroadwayGlobal says Adam Blanshay is new major leader on West End and Broadway (Photos)

BroadwayGlobal shares the breaking news that producers behind Just For Laughs begin journey as leading major players for Broadway and West End live theatre productions.

Just The Laughs will co-produce "Kinky Boots". West End production of "A Chorus Line" starring Theatre Chat favorite James T Lane ("A Chorus Line" Broadway revival and West End, "Scottsboro Boys", "Jersey Boys") is also one of their projects.

James T. Lane shares an exclusive quote for our examiner.com readers "Adam Blanshay is a dedicated and hands on producer. I am glad that he comes to support his productions throughout the process."

"It is time for arts supporters to listen to those professionals in the arts business. These are the reasons to support Producers with that extra donation or purchase tickets. If we listen to those talented artists that we respect then you will know which leaders in the arts to support." Theatre Chat.

BroadwayGlobal's top star Tonya Pinkins shares an exclusive for our examiner.com readers. "Adam is one the most impressive new producer's on the theater scene. He has his hands in great productions with great creatives on both sides of the pond. And he throws a mean party!"

"Chief Executive Officer Adam Blanshay is not just one of the youngest leaders in the arts, joining the ranks of BroadwayGlobal's Producer of the Year Jordan Scott Gilbert ("Ghost") these top leaders in the arts are bringing compelling theatre for the current generation. Times have changed for theatre. Plays that were written years ago do not deal with today's issues. They may still be classics but the time has come for up and coming Writers, Directors, Choreographers and their works to be experienced. If we are to bring live theatre to our younger generation to fill the seats of tomorrow we must not see the same names of Directors, Choreographers and writers on every marquee or Playbill." BroadwayGlobal.

"When stars like Matthew Broderick have to stop Broadway shows to tell patrons this is not a Kodak moment, stop taking pictures, video tapping or texting at the theatre. The time has come as a society to introduce live theatre and what is expected of the audience at a young age. The announcement before the production should be the only reminder we need as patrons. Let us create arts programs that offer theatre in public Schools teaching arts education now." Theatre Chat.

Looking at the top Broadway picks for 2013 one can see from "Kinky Boots", "Motown", "Matilda", "Hand On A Hardbody" and even the classic revival of "Pippin" that theatre producers are marketing to a younger audience. This is the future for live theatre. If the stories are not compelling, topical or relate to today issues we will loose future live theatre patrons.

The top leaders like Jordan Scott Gilbert, Adam Blanshay are closer to the age of our younger audiences they know what the new patrons are asking for. It is time to listen to respected artists, producers and see new names in Playbill, BroadwayWorld, Backstage, BroadwayGlobal, Theatre Chat; for Directors, Writers and Choreographers that are bringing new Tony Award winning future classics to the globe. Look at Broadway's Sexiest and you can see times sure have changed for the better!
