Gambatese recently starred as Glinda in the national tour of Wicked and has also played leading roles on Broadway including Natalie in All Shook up and Jane in Disney's Tarzan: The Musical.

The cast will also feature Edward Hibbert in the role of Max Detwiler. Known to TV audiences for portraying food critic Gil Chesterton on the NBC sitcom Frasier, he has also performed in numerous Broadway productions including The Drowsy Chaperone and Curtains.

Previously announced cast members include Grammy award-winner Christine Brewer in the role of the Mother Abbess and Lyric's Ryan Opera Center alumna Elizabeth Futral as Elsa Schrader.
