Lyons & Pakchar began collaborating while touring with The Book of Mormon. The team is a rare formula of Actor and Musician. Douglas Lyons, who handles lyrics and music, currently appears in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and has performed in Pageant, Rent, and Dreamgirls. Guitarist and composer Ethan Pakchar, who has played for the Broadway productions of Wicked, The Book of Mormon and Newsies, provides orchestration and additional music. Lyons & Pakchar’s debut album #Love (Live) mixes pop, R&B and theatre to explore the good, bad and awkward roller coasters in human relationships. They are hard at work on two full-length musicals including 79’ and an untitled musical about the The Five Points.
