Broadway is coming to town

The first thing you may need to know about seeing a Broadway show in Las Vegas is how to get a ticket. The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is planning an ambitious schedule for 2013-14 and it looks like one of the greatest challenges will be to find tickets for any of the exciting events. Tickets prices will begin at only $24 and the shows are likely to sell out very quickly.

So what is all the excitement about? Just take a look at what is coming. The season will kick off with "Les Miserables" followed by "The Wizard of Oz," "War Horse," " Sister Act," " Evita," "Mamma Mia," "Flashdance," "Porgy and Bess" and "Once." About one production every month and each production to run for one weekend. The end of the season will be a month long run of the 2010 Tony award winning "The Book of Mormon." This great assortment has won over 40 Tony awards in all.

This will be an opportunity to see any one or all of ten major Broadway hits without having to fly to New York City. If you're just visiting Las Vegas you can plan your trip around the schedule. You can click on the schedule right here.
