"Broadchurch" season 1 comes to an end next week with episode 8, and on Wednesday, Sept. 18, BBC America released a new preview teasing the end of the case.
In the "Broadchurch" season finale, the town comes together to mourn Danny (Oskar McNamara). Meanwhile, the final piece of the puzzle falls into place, and Danny's killer is finally revealed. In the last part, episode 7, Nige (Joe Sims) and Susan (Pauline Quirke) faced interrogations from Hardy (David Tennant) and Ellie (Olivia Colman), during which it was revealed that he's her son and she claimed to have seen him taking Danny's body out of a boat on the beach. But is Nige guilty? As the episode ended, he told her to tell the police she was wrong, but she insisted she was right. Did Nige kill Danny?
Fortunately, that will be revealed in next week's episode, and the Broadchurch episode 8 promo to the right shows that they're getting very close to the killer. That's good because Hardy has to have his office cleared out by the end of the day. Meanwhile, with the clock ticking, Ellie's willing to take any information she can about that night, Hardy's confronting Tom (Adam Wilson) about a message he sent to Danny saying, "I wish you were dead" (and Joe's outraged) and Hardy is following the signal to Danny's phone.
"Broadchurch" season 1 ends next Wednesday at 10 p.m. on BBC America. Who do you think killed Danny?
