The first season of "Broadchurch" is almost over, with only two episodes left to air, and on Thursday, Sept. 12, BBC America released the preview for episode 7.
In this next "Broadchurch" episode, time is running out to solve Danny's (Oskar McNamara) murder, but will the discovery of a vital clue finally unlock the case? Meanwhile, Beth (Jodie Whittaker) and Mark (Andrew Buchan) take an important step in moving on with their lives. Episode 6 saw the Latimers taking one step and heading to the arcade as a family and Beth finally deciding to keep the baby.
The episode 7 promo to the left shows that despite collapsing as he and Ellie (Olivia Colman) chased down whoever broke into the hut at the end of the last episode and subsequently ending up in the hospital, Hardy (David Tennant) is going to be back at work, even as Ellie argues he's going to kill himself. But the question on everyone's mind (especially the Chief Super's) is: Why did he take the job if he knew he was this ill?
Meanwhile, Steve (Will Mellor) tells Hardy he received a message from Danny: "It was someone close to home." But how close to home? Finally, both Nige (Joe Sims) and Susan (Pauline Quirke) are going to be in interrogations, but will one of them reveal something that will help Hardy and Ellie solve this case?
"Broadchurch" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on BBC America. What do you think of the episode 7 promo? Who do you think killed Danny?
