If you're not watching "Broadchurch" yet, you should be. The smart, compelling and tragic drama is everything we had hoped to see in other series but just never did, and the series isn't slowing down, if the episode 4 preview BBC America released Wednesday, Aug. 21 is any indication.
In this next "Broadchurch" episode, the aftershocks of Danny's (Oskar McNamara) murder continue to ripple through the town, with friends and neighbors coming under scrutiny as Ellie (Olivia Colman) and Hardy (David Tennant) continue to try to piece together what happened. Beth (Jodie Whittaker) and Mark (Andrew Buchan) decide to take matters into their own hands to get news of their son's murder in newspapers.
As episode 3 ended, we saw a boat burning on the water, and the episode 4 promo to the left begins with that. It should be no surprise that it is Karen (Vicky McClure) who appeals to the Latimers about bringing more focus to Danny's case as she has been trying to talk to everyone she can since she arrived in town. Meanwhile, Olly (Jonathan Bailey) has been doing some digging of his own and has found something on someone. Who else is hiding something in this town? Is it Paul (Arthur Darvill), who is said to have "his own demons"? Is it Susan (Pauline Quirke), who wants Maggie (Carolyn Pickles) to stop asking questions about her? Is it Jack, whom Ellie and Hardy bring into interrogation, though he claims he's not what they're insinuating? Who killed Danny?
"Broadchurch" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on BBC America. Who do you think killed Danny Latimer? Hit up the comments with your guesses.
