Brittany Murphy, famed actress and wife to Simon Monjack, passed away at age 32 from cardiac arrest. New details on the tragedy are emerging. RadarOnline reports that the hospital she was taken to Cedars Sinai tried to revive the actress "three times before pronouncing her dead at 10:04am Sunday."
Brittany Murphy's neighbor, Clare Staples told RadarOnline.com: “I saw five firemen bringing down the gurney and take her down to the firetruck, trying to resuscitate her by the fire truck. She had tubes down her throat…I think she was dead already.” According to the neighbor, Murphy's husband was “wandering around in his pajama bottoms with no shoes on. He wasn’t even near the gurney, he was just staggering around.” Staples adds: “I came out to see what was going on because I saw two big fire trucks and a paramedic outside the house. It’s a tragedy, such a tragedy.”
Murphy's friends and peers, like the world is shocked to hear of her untimely passing. Many celebrities took to their Twitter accounts to express their grief and condolences.
As was reported earlier today, many celebrities that knew Murphy personally, such as former co-star Ashton Kutcher have expressed their grief via Twitter.
Ashton Kutcher: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon. … see you on the other side kid."
Russell Simmons: "I met brittany murphy before her star rose its tough to find peace in fame. I wish her peace and happiness in her next lifetime."
Alyssa Milano: "Brittney Murphy and I did a USO Tour together in 2003. ♥ She was a sweet soul, with a lot of talent and heart."
Kim Kardashian: "I am in shock that Britney Murphy has died! Clueless is my all time favorite movie. My prayers go out to her family & husband."

Brittany was awesome!!! I wish I knew her personally but I was unfortunate to have not. I will miss her and my heart goes out to her husband. I could not even imagine what he feels.

Brittany Murphy is a great actress and with sweet soul it's really really Tragedy, I was "and still" sad about her, Hollywood lost great soul and great person :((((.

I'm so sorry to hear about Brittany Murphy's passing. My sincere condolences go out to her husband and her entire family at this difficult time. I just lost my brother 3 weeks ago. It's so painful. He was 36 years old. But, I know both Daniel and Brittany are in a better place. Brittany will be missed dearly. I am deeply sorry....
