Today, in breaking news, the famed actress known for her roles in such movies as 8 Mile, Clueless, and Sin City has died at age 32 from cardiac arrest.
The news of this very sad passing has been confirmed by the LA Coroner's office. RadarOnline reports: "A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office says they received a call at 11:30AM from Cedars Sinai Medical Center requesting the coroner to pick up Brittany’s body. The body remains at the hospital as of noon pacific. The Coroner’s office is launching an investigation into the cause of death, which right now is listed as cardiac arrest."
RadarOnline reports that Murphy was transported to Cedars Sinai Medical Center, and "paramedics say Murphy was pronounced dead on arrival."
Murphy was married and it is being reported that her husband, Simon Monjack, "called 911 from the couple’s home at 8:00am Sunday saying his wife was sick."

oh honey...I'm so sorry. bless your heart and rest happily in the arms of God babygirl...I know that your sweet soul will have no trouble nudging God to come down and care for your husband and family in person, to comfort them in this desperately horrible time. I feel overwhelmed with sadness over your loss although I didn't even know you...I always enjoyed your work and it was obvious that you were a special soul, maybe here more for us than for you perhaps, given this outcome...and if so, you fulfilled your mission in spades.
