Brittany Murphy's death wishes to be final in the request of husband and screenwriter Simon Monjack to not have her body autopsied.

But LA County Coroner Ed Winter says "other issues" he can't talk about are reason enough to investigate.

"The cause of death at this time appears to be natural. We do understand that she had a bit of a medical history and we’re looking into all aspects of that," he said in a video interview Sunday.

"There are some other issues….which I can’t get into at this time.”

Murphy, who concerned fans with an all-too-slender figure earlier this month, has been accused of eating disorders and encountered rumors of past cocaine usage in the past.

According to reports, Murphy denied any and all drug allegations and came forward in 2005 saying if she did drugs her "heart would explode."

"I have never tried it in my entire life. I've never even seen it...I am also way too high-strung," Murphy said defending drug use. "I can't even take a Sudafed. Can you imagine? My God. I think my heart would explode.”
