Brittany Murphy’s autopsy report and list of medications taken (photos). On Tuesday, TMZ reported a list of medications found in Brittany Murphy’s Hollywood house on Sunday. Brittany Murphy collapsed in her bathroom and went into cardiac arrest, and was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead at the scene.
Here is the list of prescription drugs that TMZ reported were in Brittany’s home: Topamax, an anti-seizure medication, Klonopin and Ativan for anxiety, pain relievers Klonopin, Ativan, Vicoprofen, Hydrocodone. The depression medication Fluoxetine, and a hypertension medication called Propranolol.
TMZ wouldn’t say how they received the confidential information, and the police will not confirmed the list of medications, but they did say that an investigation is currently being conducted to find out who leaked it.
The Los Angeles Coroner’s office stated that the cause of death will be deferred, "pending the rest of the other tests including toxicology, neuropathology [brain analysis], and histopathology [analysis of other organs]," LA County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told Us Weekly. The process usually takes 4-6 weeks.
Winter said that there was "no evidence of trauma to the body." Winter said that the death "appears to be natural."
The net buzz on this story is hot because Brittany Murphy fans want to know what happened and why, and because she just passed away on Sunday.
