Brittany Murphy possible cause of death is drugs; see slideshow of Brittany Murphy pictures.  Brittany Murphy was found in the shower unconscious, and her husband, Simon Monjack called 911. Murphy went into cardiac arrest and wasn’t revived. She was pronounced dead at 10:04 am on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Sunday.

Brittany starred in the movies Girl Interrupted, Clueless, Don’t Say a Word and Just Married.

Rumors of possible cocaine drug use with a combination of an eating disorder as possible cause of death factors, according to Associated Content.

Ashton Kutcher dated Murphy for a short period of time and they starred in Just Married together. Fans sent hundreds of tweets to Kutcher saying that they were sorry for his loss.

After a few hours of incoming tweets, Kutcher responded with this tweet:

"2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon."

Followed by a second tweet:
"see you on the other side kid."
