In the 5-minute clip, filmed by Artisan News Service, Murphy goes on camera to promote her movie The Dead Girl.
The role, played by Murphy, requires 12+ hours of crying to play a girl who has been involved in drugs and murdered.
"If you're spending more hours of the day as another person as opposed to yourself," Brittany says of being emotionally exhausted post-set. "That person will definitely utilize all of your resources if you allow them to - Your blood, your sweat, your tears and your whole pool of emotions," she said.
Adding, "That's why it's really important to have balance in one's life," she says pausing briefly. "But I think that's with any job," she said.

The rest of the interview, Murphy (again) refers to her high-energy personality and her reliance on drinking tons of water to stay hydrated when taking on scenes that require her to cry for 12 hours straight.
"Take care of yourself, drink water. Those are things I've learned throughout the years that are just important," she suggested of her tough days at work. "I'm not left depressed," she said of her downer characters. "Its not my life."

What is, she says, are family Christmases. "No matter what's going on in our lives - Even if we can only be there a half a day, we all get together," she says. "We're a very close knit family. We're stronger as a unit then we are separately and that's something that I definitely take on to my own children one day."
Of the holidays and it being Brittany's favorite time of year, she says, "It's so magical". (Editor's Note: Due to the fact I'm unable to embed the video, here is the link. It's definitely worth the watch).

I'm really sorry brittany Murphy was a superbe actrice what a tragedy good bless her saoul and family.I loved her movies , une grosse perte pour holywood encore un(e) acteur(e)de decede . I am still under the schock ... florence une fan de france
playing a depressing role has devistating effects on the body and mind and has been a long time subject of discussion in the performance world about it's mental and physical stress put on the actor. throw in some pain killers and you've got a recipe for disasater. another hollywood tragedy. time to take a moral inventory in that town and clean up the trade. this happens everywhere, but you have to start to set an example somewhere. hollywood would be a great place to start.
