The actress known for her roles in 8 Mile and Clueless has passed away at the young age of 32 from cardiac arrest.
Many celebrities who worked with the actress, and knew her personally are reacting to the shocking news of her death via Twitter.
Below are a few of the celebrities thus far, that have expressed their condolences.
Kim Kardashian: "I am in shock that Britney Murphy has died! Clueless is my all time favorite movie. My prayers go out to her family & husband."
Ashton Kutcher: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon. … see you on the other side kid."
Russell Simmons: "I met britney murphy before her star rose its tough to find peace in fame. I wish her peace and happiness in her next lifetime."
Alyssa Milano: "Brittney Murphy and I did a USO Tour together in 2003. ♥ She was a sweet soul, with a lot of talent and heart."
Brittany Murphy's shocking death is trending on Twitter, as many are learning of the tragic news.
RadarOnline reports that Murphy was transported to Cedars Sinai Medical Center, and "paramedics say Murphy was pronounced dead on arrival."
Murphy was married and it is being reported that her husband, Simon Monjack, "called 911 from the couple’s home at 8:00am Sunday saying his wife was sick."

one good actress has passed away today...never thought brittany would died from cardiac arrest but such is life..we never know what is instored for us....my deepest sympathy to brittany family...may her soul rest in peice.

It is just so sad when things like this happen to great people.. She was a great actor and never seemed to be to caught up in the fame. She's in a better place now and I'm sure we'll see her in another lifetime.

I did not know she died, how sad She was my hero and i looked up to her. I can't believe this is soo... shocking!!!! Wow but i feel soo bad for her family and friends. Because i had a brother that was only 2 and he died i never felt like living again i know how her family feels!!
