Could Brittany Murphy still be alive today? According to a new interview Simon Monjack gave to Radar Online, it doesn't seem likely. As a matter of fact, Murphy's husband even considered keeping her alive for as long as possible on life support:
“I absolutely wanted to keep Brittany alive as long as possible and if it had to be so, on life support...“I just thought that medical science is moving so fast that if they could somehow stabilize her and keep her alive, even if only technically, then there could come a day when they could bring her back to life."
Monjack went on to say that the doctor was updating him "every ten minutes" about Brittany's progress while in the hospital, but as time progressed on December 20 "his attitude turned from hope, to preparing us for the devastation of the news that he knew was not far away.”
Brittany Murphy's death has not completely disappeared from the spotlight thanks in part to Michael Jackson's passing along with the recent death of teen idol Corey Haim. All three were linked to prescription drug use, which is spawning a major investigation in Los Angeles.

Wasn't she already dead when they found her?
Michael Jackson DID NOT die from prescription drug use. He died from a Doctor administrating an anestetic as a sleep agent.
