Britney Spears, 30, announced her engagement to former manager, Jason Trawick, 40, earlier this month, but she's not planning a lavish Hollywood wedding this time. Instead, she is opting for a southern-style wedding with family and friends.
In true southern style, Jason asked Britney's father, Jamie, for permission to marry the pop star before popping the question at a surprise engagement party thrown in Las Vegas at the Chocolate Lounge and Sugar Factory in the Paris Hotel.
This will be Britney's third trip down the aisle. Her first marriage to a childhood friend, Jason Alexander, lasted only 55 hours. Husband number two was Kevin Federline with whom Spears has two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
