Britney Spears didn't headline any clubs on New Year’s Eve and she didn't go out and party. One of the few entertainers who stayed home on Monday night, the X Factor judge apparently wanted to share the night with her family. Dishing on spending the holiday at home, it appears she wanted to mingle with fans online as the New Year approached.
“Spending a quiet New Year’s Eve in with my boys and little miss @hannahspears. Let's hear some interesting resolutions for 2013?” tweeted Britney Spears from her official Twitter account. The entertainer obviously was interested in seeing what other people were doing on the special holiday.
While Britney Spears might have wanted to usher in 2013 quietly, she is expected to have a big year. As fans aren't sure if she will be invited back to X Factor to judge another season, it appears they will see her performing anyway. Currently working on new music, an album is expected to drop sometime in 2013.
