Is Britney Spears moving to Las Vegas? The pop star is currently in talks to get a residency at one of the hotels in Sin City. On Feb. 8, Huffington Post confirmed that Caesars Palace is interested in having Ms. Spears at Planet Hollywood. It is unknown how long Spears would be staying in Vegas, but some believe she could sign on to a multi-year deal, not unlike Celine Dion.
"Spokeswoman Emily Wofford said Friday the company is in negotiations to install the pop princess on the Las Vegas Strip," Huff Post reports. Her show would undoubtedly sell out every night and her schedule would be a bit more relaxed than when she tours.
Britney Spears to Las Vegas rumors heated up last week when Brit tweeted a Vegas-related message from her dog's Twitter account. Some fans are wondering if Britney is going to forgo a 2014 world tour, for a stint in Vegas. What that entails won't be revealed until the gears start turning. Brit will likely have a huge production and her people know just how to get something like this rolling.
Ever since it was announced that Britney would not be returning to "X Factor" next season, fans anticipated the announcement of a new album and a subsequent tour. If she signs a deal to keep her in Vegas, a tour is less likely. Fans will have to travel to Nevada to see Brit's show -- but they will. Britney puts on one heck of a show.
