Singer Britney Spears has signed to feature in a Hindi movie according to a report from the Hindustan Times on Dec 31, 2012.
Reportedly Bollywood filmmaker Sadanandan Lucsam has signed Spears for a song in his next Hindi movie titled "Bombay Times"
The American pop singer will sing and dance to the title track of the movie. Producer Lucsam said to a newspaper, "Britney’s song is an integral part of the film. It will be a proper Hindi number with some good English lines as well, to make it universal in its appeal."
Britney Spears representative however has denied the report about the singer signing a big-budget Hindi movie.
According to reports, Britney Spears has already been made an advance payment for the song. An official announcement of the name of the movie, cast and other details are yet to be made.
Sadanandan Lucsam, the Kerela based filmmaker made India's first food comedy "Salt 'N' Pepper."
International celebrities are not new to Bollywood movies, many Hollywood stars too have featured in Hindi movies in special roles.
